One Day Event–July 17th

 

Over the past 15 years, Vallejo Outreach has been held in various locations in our city.  Each year has a different theme, but one thing has held steady–to provide the city of Vallejo with a relevant event suited to the needs of the people we serve.  

During this time, we’ve given away tons of clothing and food and developed friendships and provided services to the under served.  We have sponsored basketball camps, given away thousands of backpacks, school supplies, and toys to children.

The bottom line is, we’ve always tried to provide a festive day filled with hope for the future.  We believe the 2010 Vallejo Outreach is all that and more.  We are going to the next “level!”

With your collaboration, Vallejo Outreach 2010 will provide:

• Dental Screening
• A Health Fair
• A Job Fair
• An Education Fair
• Scholarships to college-bound high school seniors
• A large “air park” featuring inflatable slides and activities for kids
• “Freebies” and “give-a-ways” fro the stage
• 35,000 lbs. of groceries
• Free lunch for all who attend

For the Vallejo Outreach to surpass our expectations, hundreds of volunteers and community partners need to stand up and get “Hooked on Helping” our neighbors and friends in this time of economic challenge.
